Chain Construction Auckland is owned and managed by James Delaney and, since 1990, has consistently grown and established itself as a well-trusted, delivery-oriented, high-quality, and experienced firm.

Chain Construction’s reputation is second to none in the construction business. Our combined past experiences have included large and small projects, including new builds, renovations, commercial buildings, restoration, and structural repairs.

Meet The Team

James Delaney

Co-Owner/Director

James trained in Ireland and gained qualifications with higher merit in Carpentry & Joinery. Since then, he has worked and furthered his career in Australia and New Zealand. He is a licenced building practitioner and has a keen eye for detail. James shares his time between leading the team on-site and pricing and evaluating jobs. When James isn’t at work he lends his expertise as a member of a Master Builder committee. James and his wife Valerie have two young kids and delighted to call Auckland their home.

Valerie Delaney

General Manager

20+ Year experience in the corporate sector in roles such as Account manager, Business developer. Recently completed a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Human resource management.
